Herbs In Astrology – Second House TAURUS

Taurus2

Taurus the Bull… April 21 – May 20

Element: Earth

Planet: Venus

Metal: Copper

Birthstones: Emerald, topaz

Best day: Thursday

Best colors: Green and orange

Health point: Taurus rules the neck, and this makes you prone to tight muscles there. Taurus also feels they must shoulder all responsibilities, and this can cause stress in your daily life. When tension does set in, try a warm water compress on the back of your neck. Spend ten minutes in a quiet room with the compress in place. Relax, tomorrow is another day !

Positive trait: Stability

Negative trait: Over-indulgence

Foods: Go easy on the meat and potatoes: Taurus men and women are given to a bulky body shape. Instead, plan meals around fresh salads, fish and poultry. Don’t forget orange colored foods such pumpkins, sweet potatoes, navel oranges and carrots. These foods will help keep your metabolism on an even keel.

Herbs: Earthy and sensual Taureans love to surround themselves with spicy and sweet smelling herbs. Patchouli, lavender and sandalwood are favorites for balancing emotions. Sweet sachets and incense fill you with a sense of calm. Spice up bland meals with sweet Italian basil, lemon thyme and sage. Cinnamon is another good choice — try some in tea or a spicy cocoa.

Accomplished in business and finance, you surround yourself with fine clothes and home furnishings. Family comes first with you, and of all the signs Taurus is the most devoted.

Two extremes of the Taurus personality: A raging bull when provoked, and Ferdinand with flowers when content and happy. You are a lover of music, especially love songs.

Blessed be, sweet ones.

  1. This sounds exactly like my Taurus son!

  2. My nephew is a Taurus. And he is 100% Taurus. Sweet most of the time, but don’t push him. I’ve seen the raging bull come out at football games.

Taurus boys grow up to be loving men, and they are devoted and very protective towards their mothers and women in general. Blessings to you and your family.
