Autumn Potpourri

This is a fragrant and beautiful mixture to make for a Thanksgiving table arrangement.

You’ll need a large glass bowl or a pretty wicker basket, and the following ingredients:

1 cup of dried sage leaves
1 cup of dried rosemary
1 cup of dried thyme
1 cup of black sunflower seeds
1 cup of dried golden raisins
1 cup of dried dark red cranberries
2 cups of acorns
Several small pinecones
1 cup of dried marigold petals or dried goldenrod flowers
Any combination of dried vegetable seed, beans or peas, squash seeds.

Layer the ingredients in the bowl or basket. Display the arrangement in a cool room until Thanksgiving day. The day after Thanksgiving, toss the potpourri outside near the edge of your property. The wildlife will appreciate the seeds, herbs and nuts.
