Sun: Responding to the bright rays and heat of the day. Angelica, Bay Laurel, Bergamot, Carrot, Cedar, Cinnamon, Frankincense, Juniper berry, Lime, Mandarin, Neroli, Orange and Rosemary. These are beneficial to the heart and circulation.

Moon: Cool herbs and flowers responding to the tides, and the ebb and flow of Earth’s waters. Honeysuckle, Jasmine, Lemon, Mugwort, Myrrh, Passion flower, Morning Glory,Clematis. Plants that speak to the subconscious and plants that live near water, rock moss and seaweed.

Mercury: Heavy and metallic. Anise, Caraway, Clary sage, Dill, Eucalyptus, Fennel, Lavender, Lemongrass, Narcissus, Peppermint, Spearmint, Thyme. Herbs that connect with Earth’s metals and minerals.

Venus: Balsam, Rose, Cardamon, Cypress, Lavender, Marjoram, Oak moss, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Vanilla, Ylang Ylang. Herbs and spices that respond to beauty and passion.

Mars: Warrior, with hot colors melting the red ice. Basil, Black Pepper, Cumin, Ginger, Pennyroyal, Rue, Sassafras, Cayenne, Cinnamon.

Jupiter: Herbs that promote the expansion of imagination. Clove, Bergamot, Melissa, Hyssop, Nutmeg, Saffron, Sage, Sandalwood, Cedar.

Pluto: Underworld, powerful, beneficial dreams. Basil, Cypress, Cedar, Valerian, Ginseng, Mugwort.

Earth: Wisdom Keeper of the Solar System. Sage, Rosemary, Roses, Violets, Clover, Marigold, Mint, Lemon Verbena.
