Prosperity Oil

This is a magick oil, an oil you can make from simple ingredients you have on hand. Make this oil on the night of the first full moon. Before you begin to assemble the ingredients, wash your hands in a basin or sink full of warm water and sea salt. Salt removes negative vibes from your hands and your surroundings. Rinse and dry your hands and then begin. If you wish, you can burn a white candle as you make the oil. Play some soothing music, and as you begin, speak your intentions to the universe. Speak abundance, more than enough, think about every area in your life that needs an increase or blessings.

You’ll need a glass jar with a lid, some light olive oil, fresh mint leaves, a one dollar bill, and 4 sprigs of rosemary. If you have a tiny quartz crystal, you can add this to the jar as well. If you don’t have fresh herbs, you can use the dried variety. Fold the dollar over several times until it is a small square. Place it on the bottom of the jar. Add the mint, rosemary, and the crystal to the jar. Slowly pour in enough olive oil to fill the jar. Place the cap on the jar. Take the jar outside after dark, and place it somewhere on your property where it can receive moonlight. You can also place the jar on a windowsill as well. Leave it there overnight. In the morning, wipe the dew from the jar, and the oil is ready to use.

Use the oil sparingly to bless certain objects. Use only a drop of the oil to anoint the kitchen cabinets, so you’ll always have money for food. Anoint the top of your car, so you’ll always have fuel for work or errands. Anoint the doors of your home, so that abundance will come in the form of money, gifts, favors, and jobs, overtime at work, promotions. Rub a little on the mailbox, so less bills will come in and more refunds instead. Dozens of ways the oil can be used to increase finances and prosperity blessings.

Never ask for more than you need. There is a fine line between prosperity and greed. Bless the oil and yourself as you go about anointing objects. Anoint your fingertips, and gently blow on them as a means of expressing belief in yourself and magic. For without belief in yourself, magic is no more than an illusion. Keep the oil in a safe place. Don’t remove anything from the jar but the oil. Above all, be patient, allow the God or Goddess or whoever you believe in to work in your favor.
