The Bugs of Eden
Spraying synthetic insecticides — which contain toxins that linger in our soil, water and air — to get rid of some bugs seems like overkill to me. I think all the (safe and effective) means for insect control that we require are already present in nature, just waiting to be rediscovered.
Here are some of our past articles that have touched on this:

I am allergic to lavender., so can I make up these insect repellents or is there a substitute I can use?
Hi Lady Beltane,
Thank you for your question. Rosemary, catnip, sage and eucalyptus are good insect-repellent herbs and can be substitutes for lavender.
