Herbs For Love and Healing…
When this terrible tragedy happened, I was outside in my herb garden. I came inside at noon to watch the news and have something cold to drink. It was hot that day, and I felt nervous for some reason. For the next few hours I sat in front of the television unable to take my eyes off the screen. I could hardly believe this had happened in the land of the free and the home of the brave. As the horror unfolded, one thing was clear, never again would Americans feel safe or think this could not happen to us.
I searched for a way to honor those who had lost their lives, and for those who had lost family and friends. The following spring I planted this herb garden.
Love Garden: Roses, Violets, Vervain, Yarrow, Lavender, Rosemary, Basil, Lemon Balm and Marigold [ 9 ]
Healing Garden: Peppermint, Carnation, Rosemary, Sage, Mugwort, Hyssop, Borage, Cinquefoil, Thyme, Chamomile and Ginger [ 11 ]
9-11, may we never forget.
