On a side note… slugs have been hitting my huacatay (Peruvian mint) seedlings. I’m trying to prevent this by placing sandpaper around the base of the newly transplanted seedlings. I cut out squares of it and then cut them halfway, then made a little triangular cut-out in the middle — to make a “collar” for the plants. I also made an additional layer below where the sandpaper is facing downwards. I’ll let you know if it works.
